Hourglass is a fitting title to this body of work. I often feel these days that the sands of time are moving faster through the glass. I hope you all understand I charged into this project through storms I was facing. I wanted to leave a small legacy of music to my family, friends and new listeners that may now hear my history. I never did it hoping to make money. All of these songs are free to download forever.
I have known Marky and the entire Lennon Clan for many decades. Marky and Kip Lennon are the lead singers of the amazing band Venice. Follow their music on all platforms please. They are hands down, in my mind, the best band to come out of the South Bay since maybe The Beach Boys. When Marky heard my demo of My Old Guitar he really was eager to sing and record it. Then after that was finished he said he'd love to do all of them. Of course my dream was to hear a voice of this caliber sing my songs so I am overwhelmed with what was accomplished. Marky painstakingly and artistically laid down dozens of background harmonies on each song. They far exceeded all of my expectations. I will be forever grateful.
